Compulsory Care and Treatment of People with Intellectual Disabilities: Discussion Paper (pdf)

The Commission was asked in December 2001 to review the provisions for the compulsory care of persons with an intellectual disability who are at risk to themselves. This discussion paper was published in May 2002. The report, People With Intellectual Disabilities At Risk, followed in November 2003.
