The year 2015-2016 was productive for the Commission. The Commission delivered two reports to the Attorney-General, both of which were tabled in Parliament:
- Medicinal Cannabis
- Use of Regulatory Regimes in Preventing the Infiltration of Organised Crime into Lawful Occupations and Industries.
The Commission also published two consultation papers:
- The Role of Victims of Crime in the Criminal Trial Process (reference)
- Funeral and Burial Instructions (community law reform)
The Commission commenced a new reference, a review of the Adoption Act 1984.
The Commission held extensive consultations across Victoria, and conducted a successful community education program.
