The Commission is seeking a Policy and Research Officer to work on our review of the Victims of Crime Assistance Act. 

The research and Policy Officer will:

  • undertake high-level legal and non-legal research into complex and diverse areas of the law relevant to a reference made to the Commission by the Attorney–General
  • prepare complex correspondence and submissions
  • develop options and recommendations for reform of the law and practice, and draft consultations papers and final reports, under the supervision of the Team Leader and the Chair.

This is a fixed-term opportunity until 27 July 2018.
